 No, each piece is individually handcrafted by a professional potter in-house at Under The Horizon.  Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, with great attention to detail and care for the end user.  To preserve the integrity of our designs, we do not allow outside sources to create Thumbprints. These Thumbprints are a vital aspect of our outreach efforts, and we take great pride in their creation. Additionally, one of our Thumbprint designs was officially copyrighted in 2016. We truly appreciate your understanding and respect for our artwork.

A Prayer Thumbprint is a tangible token that grounds us to our faith.  As the oldest collection, they remind us of how we can accomplish anything when we trust in God These pieces are based off of the numerous mentions in the Bible about the Master Potter and clay.s

In addition to pottery lesson, we have a wonderful DIY Art Activity Room.  Here you can paint or glaze a wide selection of ceramics many of which are made in-house.  

You will find a welcoming atmosphere full of creativity.  You will be greeted by our amazing staff, see our DIY Art Activity Room, see our working pottery, and enjoy our store full of beautiful professional pottery.  

We opened our business in 2010 and have been at our current location since 2011.

We are an individually owned pottery and arts studio that chooses to serve the community.  Our outreach efforts are directly supported by funds generated from our lessons and events, our DIY room, sales from our inhouse and online store, as well as community partnerships.

This is our beautiful bus that brings pottery and art to your event. We travel to your location for host pottery events and share our finished wares.  The bus is for large groups events like retreats, camps, open houses, and more. We will work with you to create a customize to meet your wants and needs.
