Yes, we have a large room where we host parties and field trips.  We also host special events throughout the year.  

Yes, we sell a large variety of finished pottery in house.  We also have an online store for our Prayer Thumbprints.  We also do custom work 

Gift certificates are sold in-house and online.  They are good on any of our items and services.  

A Prayer Thumbprint is a small handmade clay sculpture formed to rest in the user’s hand, curved for the thumb, and used to rub and focus on prayer.  Prayer Thumbprints are comforting keepsakes for every day. Calming minds to focus and pray since 2014. 

A Prayer Thumbprint is a tangible token that grounds us to our faith. It reminds us that God is Master Potter and we are the clay. Promoting calm, deepening focus, and encouraging prayer, a Prayer Thumbprint reminds us of how we can accomplish anything when we trust in God.

Prayer Thumbprints are durable and fit wonderfully in pants pockets, with extra change, in your vehicle, or other small place.

DID YOU KNOW - We also offer custom Prayer Thumbprints with you or your loved one's actual fingerprint. This service is also offered for our furry friends and their pawprints. In addition to pottery lesson, we have a wonderful DIY Art Activity Room.  Here you can paint or glaze a wide selection of ceramics many of which are made in-house.  You can create a suncatcher, paint a beautiful painting or make a Pennsylvania/Gettysburg souvenir. Reservation are required.  

You will find a welcoming atmosphere full of creativity.  You will be greeted by our amazing staff, see our DIY Art Activity Room, see our working pottery, and enjoy our store full of beautiful pottery.  

We opened our business in 2010 and have been at our current location since 2011.

 Yes, we ship all over for an additional fee.  We also ship student pieces.  

These are some of things we are most proud of, let us explain.  Under The Horizon is here to serve. We are an individually owned pottery and arts studio that chooses to serve the community.  Our outreach efforts are directly supported by funds generated from our lessons and events, our DIY room, sales from our inhouse and online store, as well as community partnerships.

This is our beautiful bus that brings pottery and art to your event. We travel to your location for host pottery events and share our finished wares.  The bus is for large groups events like retreats, camps, open houses, and more. We will work with you to create a customize to meet your wants and needs.
